Direct cremation is a practical, alternative, and lower-cost option when compared to a traditional funeral service. The Deceased is first cremated without any initial service or procession. A memorial service can then be held, if desired, following the cremation, and at a time, date and location more convenient, and perhaps more fitting. In many cases, cost is not the main factor. The ability for families to "do their own thing" without feeling "pressured and driven by tradition" is often more important.
A direct cremation is the least expensive option, and is not openly available from many funeral directors. Direct cremation is offered by us to answer the specific requests of families who choose the most simple, dignified and economical means of arranging their loved-one's departure.

A Direct Cremation Includes
- Providing the services of experienced funeral directors local to Plymouth, Saltash and South Hams

What our Direct Cremation Service does not include:
- Viewing at our Chapel of Rest.

- Flowers are not included, however you can send them direct to ourselves.
